The Delmarva Quarterly credo is simple: there is no place on Earth like Delmarva. From Wilmington to Cape Charles, from Crisfield to Rehoboth Beach, thousands of people wake up every day and live among the smells of marsh mud, saltwater and tilled earth. They get their hands dirty – and there are stories in the dirt.
We print those stories. For seven years, Delmarva Quarterly has covered the issues, histories and arts that define the peninsula. We feature the region’s best poems and short stories, providing the peninsula’s only regular venue for creative writing.
Above all, we aspire to create a sense of place. It’s impossible to capture the ineffable art of Delmarva, but there’s beauty in trying; and four times a year, you can enjoy the fruits of our efforts.
